The Q RISING Talent Incubator is dedicated to supporting emerging fashion brands and nurturing new talent, with a primary focus on the Global South and diaspora, by amplifying their voices and equipping them with strategic acumen.
Every three years, the incubator selects a group of designers to receive three years of funding — equivalent to six seasons — fostering a comprehensive and sustainable path to success. Upon completion, these designers join the Q RISING community's alumni network, building lasting connections and opportunities beyond the incubator.
Throughout the mentorship, designers will gain access to Qasimi’s resources, including show and pop-up spaces, as well as support in product development, production, merchandising, marketing, and business operations from a network of industry leaders — all designed to nurture and prepare the fashion leaders of the future.

Laura Pitharas’ womenswear brand defies conventions and redefines femininity. Seamlessly blending style, quality, and sustainability, this label shines amidst a saturated market.
With over a decade of industry experience in London and Paris, Laura honed her skills in menswear tailoring at the renowned London College of Fashion. Collaborating with Tilmann Lauterbach, a distinguished menswear designer and LVMH Prize finalist, in Paris further expanded her expertise, after which she joined the womenswear team at Belstaffto work under French head designer Delphine Ninous.
In October 2021, Laura unveiled her eponymous womenswear label, carving out a niche in sustainable luxury. Her distinctive approach elegantly brings femininity to traditionally perceived menswear silhouettes, earning them the well-deserved reputation of "menswear for womenswear."
With meticulous attention to detail, all garments are proudly crafted in the UK, with a special emphasis on tailoring. Laura sources premium woollen fabrics directly from a renowned mill in Leeds, paying homage to her northern roots.
